I had this camera for about 8 months. He gave me no problems what so ever. The worst thing for me is how basic it is. If you Bluetooth compatibility, updates, traffic, movie, etc. to your GPS, then this is the device for you. But if all you want is to get around and find places to visit, then this unit works well.
The price seems a bit high for what it does now ($ 180). At this price, I expect the Bluetooth compatibility. This device does not mean that the street name, just say the left or right at 200 feet (no big deal). If you look at the places she has her phone number and address (es) normally, which is nice because so late at night, you can see only when they are still open.
This GPS has a SD card reader on the page that are used to display photos in slide show mode if you do not need the device for navigation.
screen is very bright during the day, so you can just see the screen. And is a nice feature when it’s dark the screen automatically changes the color “” night mode, which helps when driving (at night, the screen darkens and the bright white background and dark blue black). < , br />
The features are nice trip. It keeps track of your average speed, how long you spent in motion, how long you will no longer be issued, the total travel time, how many miles you are away, etc.
It takes about a minute a minute and a half to find your site from a cold start, but if you leave it switched on all the time (with a car that held the cig lighter when you return the car ), they never lose the place (not sure if it is) not bad.
The battery life is very good (about 4-5 hours).
There are many add-ons, a technologically advanced person, to add it. As POIs (You can download or even yours, and you can set alerts that notify you when you close a particular place or if you’re speeding in a school zone). You can add icons of different vehicles, and then use the car on the screen.
Together, it is decent, but very easy navigation. Not many bells and whistles, but it is worth it from point A to point B.

I am in possession of a Garmin C320 for a few years back and tried some new features, such as coordinates and altitude. I first bought the TomTom XL 330, which was a disaster. After much research, I bought and preserved. Here is my long list of advantages and disadvantages:
PROS:
1 The best routes. (See my cons) This may be one of the main reasons Garmin dominates the United States – good delivery. Of course, I wish it was more of a brain and can use traffic lights and general traffic in certain areas at certain times (think of the reports on the actual traffic), but I think directors need to be good.
< , br /> 2 Where am I? (See my cons) This is the list next to the street address. This screen also indicates the quantity and your contact information.
3 Location easier together. On my C320, you had to dig through menus to find a large map, so you can draw areas on the Touch and Go On 205W, simply touch the card while driving and take you directly to the general map. You can then touch the area you want a stopover and change your route in this way.
4 Speed limit sign. You can make up the speed limit in force on the screen to show. It is highly accurate for the time of a change of speed limit in real driving conditions. If the sign is missing on the screen, then you also know that it does not really know how to calculate the arrival time of the street. You can use this information to take or avoid that road on your next trip.
5 Very compact. My C320 was a lot bigger, so this is extremely low.
CONS:
1 Touchscreen. This may change the way I use, but the touchscreen is not as sensitive as my c320. It requires a bit difficult to reach. It also shows fingerprints much worse than my old GPS unit.
2 To mount the ball. This results in better mobility of the mountain on my c320, but it’s as if I was pushing very hard on my GPS unit to successfully snap in. May this change in old age needs.
3 Keys speed. When I type in a city, street, etc., is QWERY keyboard of a full keyboard which is an improvement on my c320 (I think you can ABC), select Keyboard, but there are two things I dislike : 1) there is a delay between the time you if it shows that you specify when you fast, you can see what you type, if you make a mistake, do not you see if they are very fast, 2) spacebar is tiny and very far on the right side, while silence in the menus below are in the center – very annoying!
4 charger. On my c320 would connect the charger cable into the cradle and there was no expense in making the GPS unit itself. Which was good because the cord could be on the mountain all the time, and take off with the GPS – you never attach, just clip the GPS on or off. Now the power cord will not stop and it falls to the door, etc. because they were stuck in the back of the GPS. I suppose the text as it is not possible to have a jack in the cradle and GPS, but I think they should work.
5 Current street. The TomTom XL 330 has demonstrated how it is now, and this at the next traffic light, turn left. Garmin only shows the next street.
6 Routing Number nemesis. Sometimes I do not want just a router, because I know a better way. Suppose I turn the normal way – it will recalculate and have a shorter time before I returned. What’s up with that? Why Did not I come out early?
6 routing decisions. I do not know how that I can choose either the fastest time or shortest path. I imagine that some of the time, would be the best way to navigate between the extremes.
7th Missing POI. There are many cases where I’m looking for something, and it is not in the Garmin – to stores and restaurants for a year. I know you’ve all GPS devices, but also the No. 1 seller in the U.S., they can not find a way to encourage the actors involved? What about incentives for users to solve problems online and give them discounts on the latest map? If you are the best maps and POIs are, by far, why should you buy another company?
8th Tinny speakers. I am not impressed by the President, it seems much worse than the deep C320, but you can hear. It’s just not pleasant.
9 Voice decisions. It would be nice to choose your voice, but I do not see this option when you select a different language.
Next 10 intersection. It is under the “Location” menu. It could be very useful in an emergency to the next crossing in addition to the nearest address. But I discovered they have called “random intersection within a few miles. It will normally show me a major intersection, and sometimes closer to ignore dozens of small crosses, which would be much more beneficial to police, fire, ambulance, etc. < ; br />
11 tie. I hate how they put up the volume. The C320 was a wheel on the side of the camera – is the best. On the TomTom there was a spot on the screen, you raised the pipe and moved the volume control. This is 205W, Menu, press the volume, move, and again, then View Show. It just terrible. I want a mute button on the action to the screen and a separate volume knob too. It is, after all widescreen. I hope this does not lead to accidents, because I think it will. When I answer my phone, I want quick access to mute!
12 Requires customization! Let me 3 shortcut buttons to select a plan. So I can put where I am and the volume POI on the main screen. Please, I also want to change my color red road instead of purple.
, 13 POI selection. It’s something I have never found, that means a GPS, as I want. If I am looking for gas or food, it is usually on a long journey . If I go to fast food, we say (that it will not happen!) Should I choose a restaurant, fast food. It will show me all the restaurants, how they are far from me now. This Not what I want, if I choose to be around… The current route. It’s closer to what I want, but it shows how far it is from where I am now. I want to show me, but also how I deviate from my path would.
[UPDATE 6/5/09] 14 The lifespan of the battery. battery life is just terrible in my unit. It may take several hours, and if I remain inactive for a few weeks he is almost dead. My C320 battery was far superior. It was this way because it was new. I take my perhaps faulty..
All in all, this is a very good unit and I buy it again because I think that benefits the outweigh the disadvantages, and no competitor has yet cheaper.
[UPDATE 3/18/10] I’m still with it and it works fine, except the life of the battery. I found that adding functions FleetWise can you upgrade the firmware from the Garmin Web site. Sorry, I can not for guidance, but the function is very cool. Add your car miles per gallon, and the current gas prices, and it shows you how much it will cost you to get to your destination, and other functions.

I agree with others, MP3, Bluetooth, FM, announces the street “name”, etc., overboard and it is not what a good GPS. Of course, Garmin has for those who want to, but only for navigation really good and fast, new series (205W etc.) is all that is necessary and it awesome. What a good GPS. . . the Garmin 60CSx handheld. . . who I am! I compared the two, which is not really realistic because they are both different purposes, but the navigation both are very good. Only the 60CSx is the connection in very hard (high-rise buildings, overpasses, canyons, trees, maintenance, etc.), but the 205W is not a slouch hat here.
Satellite Information. . . Flow: the 205W is just as fast as the 60CSx, if just a little faster, and that is amazing in itself. It picks up satellites easily and, once obtained, connects almost immediately after switching on again. Get off Interstate 35E in Dallas and try again. . . It is a nightmare. But for the Nuvi 205W has been described very simply and clearly stated. . . a great GPS.
I was initially skeptical about the new series until I found this, what is Garmin and other reviewers’ comments reached: chip fast memory Picks 1000, Travel minder, ascending clear instructions and markings that provide distance, mph road and read your recent mph (on screen) and time of arrival to go (the destination waypoint) , widescreen Nice, easy to install, etc., but I could go on and go further. . . when it comes to toys, you (mp3, Bluetooth phone, FM etc), do not buy it. But if you want the best for navigation BUCK. . . this series is. The instrument response is truly amazing.
My wife loves this camera and how easy it is to do what it wants (it’s my friend, is a good salesman to talk to …).
Back to Garmin navigation is great. . . and a great price. Your friends will be impressed.
Only complaint. . . Operators online no manual. . . yet? But since I already had the 60CSx, it was easy to find, and Garmin, and menus are easy to manage, you need to know. I have heard and used since 14 Nuvi 205W in July 2008. Very satisfied!

The Garmin nuvi 205W is simply a great GPS and the best value for a GPS wide screen. It has no bells and whistles booster (not LOL MP3 player, he does not speak street names – annoying, no maps of Alaska is required or Canada – not listen to any FM transmitter, MP3 – useless gadget, etc..) The 205W is a GPS useful on screen – simple and clear. He has over 6 million POIs (restaurants, lodging, shopping) and can be customized to add your own POIs. This is an onboard computer, which I measure last week during a trip to Hershey Park, which was pretty clean (the travel time, speed, distance, etc..) The new Garmin GPS released the new interface that shows the speed limit on the road, your speed, the arrow next turn and distance to next turn, all on the main screen. The configuration information is the best on the market and is available with clear guidance on where you want to go offer. The Garmin 205 (are) the normal screen) and 205W (wide both highly recommended – it’s only a matter of preference in screen size.

I am very satisfied and impressed by this product, it is good to know for sure, I’ll never like me in the past (ask my wife lost).
When the additional costs could afford, I recommend that you select is greater than 4. 3 Display (205W). The only drawback is 205W, the road is not known what I thought I might regret, but it is easy to see at the top of the screen.
An adapter for the car GPS is included in the price. I mention this because it is not expressly stated in the details.
The 205W model is what most customers would need in a GPS without all the unnecessary features that more expensive models offer.
