Before writing more, I agree that I use mainly for my handheld GPSr Geocaching. . . . almost every week. If in the region, it is not unusual for me, walking several miles through dense forest areas walked through the wetlands or go kayaking along a river to reach my destination. So please keep in mind that you have read my comments.
This bag is constructed with the type of construction you expect from Lowepro, quality materials and convenient hooks and little extras like the rifle clip for the belt. The design is such that the necessary flexibility to accommodate different brands of portable devices a. Generally I use a Garmin 60CSx GPS Navigator, but it may as well take my Magellan Triton 500 Handheld Navigation System. I liked the small zippered pocket to store an extra set of batteries, but it is a tight fit for two hybrid AA think my unit is required. Neoprene offers excellent protection against scratches to the handheld device itself.
says. . . . than that using the handheld is required to be visible in hand for most of my trips to the test, it is the closed nature of the design a little curious to me. I found myself with the most cases for the storage of my handheld, is not being used. On the track, he will manage another element. I suppose for those whose use by the following, well marked for most of their trip, this bag was a good way to carry the device while it is protected and the hands for other activities Free. Hunters head of a deer stand or fishing can be a hot spot, is exactly what they find in their unit, is stored on their arrival there and start doing what they had to do .

The case for the use of snap chalk bags and climbing is required to outdoorsy types and people on the go who can not always be marketed both hands free. The vertically oriented Chalk Bag hanging from your belt loop or other straps and the opening cord gives you quick access and one hand on your camera allows. Instead of searching with a zipper, you just download, place your hand through the opening and pull the elastic device. I prefer to style snap pockets on other types of bags (like the shoulder belts) because of the comfort and style casual dress, I wore it, almost like a handgun. I have no fish in my pocket or backpack when I need the device.
Soft-padded, the neoprene case protects your device from scratches, accidental drops and other mishaps. A possible weakness is the way is secured by a snap. The clip itself is made of metal and very strong, but where it meets the bag, it is not sufficiently robust. Instead of an eyelet riveted or a thick belt of ballistic fabric with reinforced seams, it’s a thin piece of fabric sewn nylon in the neoprene skin (see my photos in the gallery). He does not, you can store to look far. Accidental or tear a hook on an object (like a doorknob or a hook) could cause a tear in the seam. This is really about in outdoor environments, where trees and branches could make, but since this bag is sold to these users, I am signaling back.
In addition, as mentioned by others, the battery replacement is too narrow. It fits perfectly with two AAA batteries, end to end, but not two AA batteries. You have completed and forced its closure.
Overall an attractive bag, which is handy if you’re like Chalk Bag Design. It also fits iPods, digital cameras and MP3 players. If you have a zipper, non-gun version Lowepro Lowepro prefer he fourth 3-inch GPS Navigation Sleeve (Black).

I was looking for a case of my eTrex Vista Garming. So far I have mixed since the implementation of the unit in my bag with my DSLR. This case is, then fills a real need. Even if the material is not particularly thick neophrene, I found provided sufficient protection for my (real) GPS robust. Most commentators here on the tightness of the battery case, complains and there is a problem. I had trouble opening the zipper on the bag all the way, how to catch one of the batteries in good condition. But there is a slight advantage, not to lose under the batteries: they will not fall out when you unzip the bag, or they push around, while in the bag. In any case, I think the tightness of the batteries, the great thing. I am a little concerned about the decision to use “heavy duty” gun as a way to fix the device to the individual. Without doubt, the rifle itself is fairly robust, but I wonder about the hardware used to attach the rifle to the bag. And when the carbine hooks on the strap of the belt, the bag tends to jump a little against his thigh. I would put the possibility of the bag on the carpet itself – preferred, although, to be sure, I recognize the method, the rifle ready access to the bag itself, because it is very easy to light and extinguish, access to video content.
To summarize: the pocket, despite its shortcomings very well for me on some of the shorter walks I used it worked, but I’m just worried about how they can spray on more laps.

It’s a big deal. Neoprene is generally awesome stuff – and indeed the two watertight compartments in my kayak with nothing more than a layer of neoprene stretched over an open hole sealed. And consider that this method, each individual drop of water, regardless of the severity of the sea. So in my head, you can not really go wrong with neoprene.
The carabiner is well, but honestly, I do not think it takes too long. This way, rifles are the subject of a lot of use, saltwater rain, dirt, etc. The one that came with my Garmin Colorado 400t has been top quality to my eyes, not the The aim is really no longer spring back. The quality of the weapon is not much of a concern for me, but as children are not as expensive.
The remark often repeated that the battery compartment is a little tight right. I think that, technically, I could remove a star for that purpose. But I do not see this as a problem significant enough to win the entire loss of a star. Maybe half.
On the other hand, I have the two following complaints that I have seen here, do not agree:
1) “It should display a window on the screen. At this point, we speak of a kind quite different from the case. neoprene to this case provides full protection to 360 degrees of shock , scratches, drops, etc. Adding a plastic window would significantly reduce the protection on this page. This case has not been designed to provide a matter of form-fitting gloves style, how would you for a phone, so I would not consider the absence of a window as a “problem”.
2) “It is not enough water,” and or “I do not know how the cord. Firstly, I can not from a handheld GPS outdoor who does not think less highly water repellent. The bag must be sealed. Secondly, the style the closure of cord was used because it allows the user to access content easily with one hand. with one hand with a seal would probably be impossible. And, as described in the statement that it is an “innovative design Chalk Bag has, it makes sense to me is the audience here, especially climbers and hikers – people certainly enjoy with one hand.
