There are a variety of opinions out there for navigation devices with comparisons between devices from different manufacturers, says that more is better than the others, which I use because I never found the device near ever compare. So I view this as a review of the TomTom 730 written rather than a comparison.
(Please note, this plant is the refurbishment of 730 moel)
The 730 is well packed and had a charge directly from the box. It contains all the accessories and most of the literature, which is a new model, including the windshield, dashboard disk, car charger, user manual and CD. There was no cosmetic brand on the device I have. Refurbished devices with shorter warranty, but the price difference is more than compensated for the period of time can be lost.
The unit does not come with an old card and the firmware revision. After installing TomTom HOME, and create a profile, the software asked me if I wanted to update the device and installed the latest service pack of cards of North America (including the United States and Canada) and 8 30 firmware. The download and installation was a huge 1st 5 hours to download and install a broadband wireless. Decision MapShare for 11,386 additional allowances were added to accept. I do not enter codes for updates or get TomTom uses the latest updated maps. Other cards were listed in additional costs, but they have been for other countries I do not need.
After updating the device, I see a few of the 730 trips, as it works well. I travel around 1000 miles per week for business and leisure travelers throughout Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia. I have several units shipping during the last two months, had tried to find the right one for me, and I am impressed by this device. There are some problems with the device, which, by limiting the Nav units are generally not specifically for the 730th An example: Whitehurst and Canal Street in DC literally run over each other. The “IQ routing functionality is quite the most useful feature of the device. TomTom Home and the community provides support is awesome. Other than MapShare (which is impressive in itself), there are different forms of symbols, voice guidance (you can even start with 730), a screen, the map colors, and other customizable features that can help enhance and customize the device.
On balance I think I found the right device for me. This is the best browser I have not still used in the renovated and it is worth the purchase price. I hope you found this review helpful.

Thus, the unit was clean and without scath or brands. The big problem with Tom Tom uinits renovated, is that they are quite inconsistent policy to update the map. TOM TOM assist States that are not renovated units with a warranty Latest “Map”. Then they noticed that some units ship with a card you can get the latest maps. I think I was unhappy!
For a company that wants to be a leader, you think they have a coherent policy on the sale of refurbished units. I think all units refurbished to the latest maps, then they should be renewed to be updated. The maps on my unit was spread over a year! Support Supervisor Tom Tom explains that he saw as old as the 2007th Support The people were nice, but his hands were tied, as a solution to the problem. It is more a sales and operating expenses.
Buyer beware! There is no guarantee which version of the cards you receive. We may be lucky and get a unit that you get the latest maps or not. In summary, this is not a good way to build a quality reputation in the industry.

I bought this camera refurbished from Amazon, which at February 20 was delivered, I had to update the weekend and test them every day, they eat there.
Unit:
No scratches or stains on the camera, and a new unit. All functions worked for me. The battery seems to charge very well, not really tested for the duration but I think is 3-4 hours, which is for a refurbished unit is good enough for me. In the weeks that follow, I amy exactly how long the battery will last to know.
Maps:
cards were old, but after connecting to TomTom Home and click on “Latest Map Guarantee”, it done for the last card and offered as an upgrade for free! You do not know why other reports which complained it could not update.
FM Transmitter:

Memory:
High – memory is 2GB and when I am it showed only 138 MB free. Means that you will not be able to use it for music. I ordered a SDHC card 4GB go with him and used for the music I wanted to load. You can use the free space on the map to get extra things like shop, Cast, icons, maps, etc. I would not advise anyone to request a new card because it will prove useful in the future and not, you know, you space when you need it. Advance Lane Guidance:
Amazon at a great price This is a great feature and it works very good at certain intersections so busy practice when you’re out of town in a foreign country and have no idea what to take and to avoid situations that may come from. Even if they go wrong very quickly the unit recalculated a new route for you so that you do well again and back on course.
The price of a new Go 730 is fully justified is, even today, the newly created on the other side is a steal! Go for the Go!

The voice of the computer, if elected produced slight stuttering on many occasions as reported by some. I went to the recorded voice, and there is no problem that. Tom Tom is working on her course and an update may solve the problem. />

I was a little hesitant about buying a refurb, but I could not be happier with my TomTom! Not a single scratch or stain on the device. All cables and manuals have been sealed in the news. I fed directly from the box and it worked perfectly. I have at home on my computer and install the updates immediately. If you’re on the fence of buying a refurb is easy to buy, Amazon has a 30 day money back guarantee and TomTom) has a 6 month warranty on the refurb (1 year for new, I am absolutely satisfied with my purchase!
Note: Make sure a complete backup of the device via Explorer (simply copy all files and folders anywhere on your hard to ensure you can download files and folders). Do it before updating. TomTom has also changed its corporate policy at the beginning of 2009 in respect of New Maps for the refurb warranty. They are no longer with the Refurb. However, the device comes with a card that one version behind the current and I am very happy with it.

I received the new design TomTom 730 yesterday and will be tested immediately, intensively for several hours. There are two facts that may be of interest to potential buyers:
1 One of them came up with an old map NA, Version 800th 1727th Year2007 This map is really old, but with MapShare, I think there is no problem. After updates MapShare, TomTom Home “card is current. 58,098 MapShare Map corrections in use”. In other words, you can not necessarily update on the last card (815. 2019) on.
